The Mongol if played right, can counter most other races with lovcely fast ranged Mangudais, and take out any siege, but beware of counter races such as Meso and Goths!!!! In Imp you of all races has the worst economy!!!!! Mongols is kinda a gamble, you have to kick the enemy in the balls, you only have the powerful hunting bonus that dies out in Dark Age, and has NO FURTHER economy bonus, so everything must stand or fall in the Flush. Saracens are extremely gold heavy and can actually beat most civs if played right. Turks will almost rule all if he has trade and only in DM or if he's for some weird reason lies undisturbed, but are very weak at the start, with little useful economycal bonus. Huns with no houses gives so much military time, that it's not funny and can easily spam scouts. Maya with the most powerful economy will be a very powerful choise, but are beaten by the Goths.
